Apollo Global Management Acquires 50% Interest in 2 GW Energy Portfolio from TotalEnergies

Apollo Global Management, Inc. has acquired a 50% interest in a 2 GW solar and battery energy storage portfolio from TotalEnergies.

This portfolio includes key projects spread across Texas’ ERCOT market. Solar power with battery storage is a high value combination for increasing grid resilience during the energy transition.

In total, there are three solar projects with a total capacity of 1.7 GW and two battery storage projects with a combined capacity of 300 MW. TotalEnergies will maintain 50% ownership and continue to operate the projects.
